New Year, maybe a new blog start?

So, my friend Annie posted on Facebook a while ago with a link to this project http://www.brwnpaperbag.com/1-year-of-stitches-michelle-anais-beaulieu-morgan/ and I have every intention of doing it, even though I'm not particularly good at embroidery.  Two days in, and so far so good. Here's a photo of the first day's bit. I probably won't take a picture every day, maybe once a week or so.

I have several knitting projects in progress as well, and may post about them too.

This is a test to see if I can make this work - we are coming very late to the adventure that is  blogging, but I wanted to have a place for our family to share the many projects we work on.  The name comes from combining the two crafts that probably get the most time in this house - knitting (for me) and origami (for Evan). For this first post, though: photography.  I spent some time trying to photograph the lunar eclipse a couple of days ago, and put together this collage.  I think it came out pretty well, so it seemed like a fitting beginning.
